ICT@SCHOOL Project ( A Govt. project ) is primarily serving computer literacy program to all
Govt. and Govt. aided school to all over west Bengal since 2013 in the view of digital learning procedure with digital learning techniques to students in school. In accordance with this scheme, there are most of the schools in west Bengal received an opportunity of a set of 10 number computers and in addition other digital learning tools with a ICT Instructor( designated at school coordinator) for starting digital education in school in present day scenario. Initially, the project has been started for BOOT level implementing of computer literacy programme in West Bengal. In fact, the ICT Instructors were spending their valuable effort and time enough for implementing the said project in West Bengal from the boot level in a hope of regularization in their job with great scope in future reference up to 60 years of their age but, now, they are in a dilemma in their service providing whether they are in the service or out of their service after project completion what is depended on totally on
RMSA.In the view of shortage of the teacher in school in the present day scenario, The ICT Instructors of ICT@School project play an important role in school up to great extend as they are taking substitute class of school in the absence of respective subject teachers; and also most of among them are taking
Modern Computer Application subject of class XI and XII in school ( as duly appointed by school educational department as contact teacher voluntarily) like regular teacher besides their computer classes in school, apart from these in many cases they perform official works like doing
Kanyashree work ,
Sikhashree work ,
minorities scholarship work ,
pre matric and post matric scholarship work as well as other
important official works as directed to them by school authority very effectively and efficiently. Moreover,
the students from class V to class X are learning “computer” subject very seriously and enthusiastically in ICT@school project with their regular usual classes’. In the above view, their absenteeism in the school may cause great effect in all respects of school’s affairs. In fact, this is to hope their work extension up to 60 years of their age in ICT@School project with suitable numeration in West Bengal whereas there are several states in India like Daman, Panjab, Gujrat, Maharastra, Hariyana etc. have regularized the post and paid attractive suitable numeration to ICT Instructors) need to be modified immediately in compare to other school’s teacher which, in turn, may help school’s development directly in digital India.
